Affordable, comforting Japanese food with genuine effort from the owner. It’s not the fanciest place, but you can tell they really try to deliver their best. A $12 bibimbap with complimentary miso soup—what more can you ask for? They also have $3 ice cream for a sweet finish. Will definitely be back to support local business.

Good for its value! I loved the pork katsu bento!! It was crispy and not dry. The chicken teriyaki bento was good too. The salad was really fresh and dressing nice.

A fantastic Japanese local take away (or eat in). The meals maybe a little slower but they are cooked to order. My favourite is the teriyaki salad. My children love the kids meal which is noddles, sushi and a drink. The pricing is great.

All the dishes taste great. Simple and fresh. Home styled and not too salty. Good value for money. Always order the salmon breakfast with the small side dishes & a fish cake stick but also love the bento with different selections, katsu, unagi etc. Finally, never say no to the Hokkaido soft serve ice cream for dessert .

Generous portions and good value. Had the Teriyaki Chicken Don set (with salad and miso soup) takeaway — the chicken don was quite tasty as was the salad. The soup was on the bland side, so mild improvement to be had there — but it was hot unlike previous comments. Staff was efficient, food seemed to be prepared fresh. I loved the use of compostable take away containers! Will come back to try other things another time!

It’s a little delicious humble restaurant that offers affordable Japanese go-to menus like sushi rolls, katsudon, curry, etc. On top of that, the soft serve is cheap and tasty. I happened to go there a couple of times only to get the soft serve! The food also makes you feel like home-cook. It’s simple yet flavourful and I’ll definitely be going back! Overall it’s worth for what you pay for.
